Patient Bill of Rights
These rights apply to every Caliber member, every interaction. If you ever feel one of them isn't honored, write to care@startcaliber.com and we'll make it right.
You have the right to
- Private, secure care. Your health information is HIPAA-protected. We never sell it, and we never use it for targeted advertising.
- Know your clinician. The clinician reviewing your protocol is named, US-licensed in your state, and the same person each month.
- Honest, plain-language information. Treatment options, risks, benefits, and alternatives — explained without sales pressure.
- Access your records. Inspect, request a copy of, and request corrections to your medical record at any time.
- A second opinion from another clinician, on Caliber or outside it.
- Refuse treatment at any point. Declining the protocol does not affect your membership status or future ability to re-enroll.
- Cancel without penalty. Stop anytime, after any month. No 30-day notice. No retention call.
- Clinically appropriate care. Caliber is prescribed only when a clinician determines it's right for you — not because you asked for it.
- Timely communication. Same-day clinician response on weekdays for protocol questions; member-support response within one business day.
- File a complaint without retaliation — directly with us, with your state medical board, or with the US Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights.
